VBS and College

     Okay, I know that you may be wondering what VBS and college have to do with each other... I'm even wondering that myself!:-p But really it's the two current things going on in my life. So, here are my ramblings on each subject..... This week is my church's VBS we are using the theme Big Apple Adventure from LifeWay. I have been put in charge of 8 and 9 year olds, which is a really fun age. I love interacting with this age group because they seem to be realizing that they need a relationship with God. I have a few in my group who are seeking the Holy Ghost, and I believe even in a VBS worship rally, that they can receive it. (oh, just in case anyone didn't know it, I LOOOOOVE KIDS!!!!!!)

     In other news.... lol!!! I have been accepted into my college's nursing program. I have to go this Friday to get fitted for my uniform scrubs, and order all of my other equipment. I am really excited. My brother, who just graduated, is also going to college. I am taking him Friday to show him around campus, and getting him registered. He's getting really excited and nervous at the same time... so here's the deal... does anyone have any advice for either one of us??? If so, leave me a comment. My New Blog!!! :D

     HELLLOOOO, Everyone!!!!! I'm excited about starting my new blog... I guess I should start out with telling you a little bit about myself. My name is Erin and I live in Mississippi. I am a 20-year-old Apostolic who has a desire to please the Lord.
    Some of you may (or may not) wonder about my choice of a blog name. Well, it's really quite simple, and here's why... Random rambling is what I do best. I have diagnosed myself ;-p with ADD, so when talking to people, I tend to jump around from subject to subject randomly. Southern Belle ought to be pretty self explanatory, but for those of you who just skimmed through the first paragraph, I am from the South... Mississippi to be precise.
     So, there you have it!!!! I hope that you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it. Feel free to comment on anything I say, whether on this entry or future entries. I look forward to this new venture!!!!
